    Hi Clanzer,
    i see 1 immediate problem – at the start / end point of the ‘V’ there are four magnets, everywhere else on the wheel there are only two. this means that regardless of what else is happening you are fighting gravity by trying to get the heaviest part of the wheel to reset at the most difficult point – the top. the cam is then compounding this problem by adding more weight at the same point.

    if it were me i would be trying to get the ‘reset’ area at the bottom of the cycle so gravity would be helping rather than obstructing the cycle. this might be achieved by placing the stator at the bottom and using a spring to mimic the effects of gravity in reverse.
