CLaNZeRS Modular Rig System Part5

I was talking to someone this morning about the Bob Teal Solenoid motor. First they asked if the modular rig system could be used to replicate one and second question was whether he used a Biasing magnet on the Solenoids and how much difference it would make. Here is a quick video of the Modular Rig System adapted quickly to a Solenoid Motor. Not really efficent linkage and a lot of friction, so could be improved, but shows the basic idea. By using solenoids you are not getting the back emf caused by a magnet flying past a coil and also Bob Teal used the collapsing field of the coils to light some light bulbs and claimed it was OU.
